Redesigned Toyota Models for 2015
Toyota Camry
The 2015 Camry and Camry Hybrid have been completely remade and redesigned with:
- New exterior
- Improved dynamic performance
- Premium and upscale interior design
- New and innovative safety technologies
The new XSE model will bring the Camry lineup to a total of 4 models as the XSE model builds on the success of the SE model, giving it a sportier design, premium luxury, and enhanced safety features.
All Camry gas-engine models will offer the standard 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine, offering 178 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft. of torque.
The XSE and XLE models will offer a 3.5-liter V-6 with the six-speed, automatic transmission that dishes out 268 horsepower.
Toyota Tundra
The 2015 Tundra is discontinuing its V-6 option and designing all Tundra models to come standard with a either a 4.6-liter i-Force V-8 engine, or the 5.7-liter i-Force V-8 engine.
The regular cab 4x2 and 4x4 models will come standard with the 4.6-liter i-Force V-8. At 5,600 rpm, the 4.6-liter i-Force V-8 dishes out 310 horsepower, and at 3,400 rpm, it gives 327 lb.-ft. of peak torque.
For more horsepower and torque, the popular 5.7-liter i-Force V-8 will be offered for all full size models as it dishes out 381 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 401 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 3,600 rpm. Additionally, the 5.7-liter V-8 will also offer the conventional gas or Flex Fuel options as well.
For 2015, the Tundra will be adding another trim level to its lineup, taking it from 5 trim levels to a total of six. The new trim level, the TRD Pro model, will come standard with:
- 5.7-liter V-8 with a TRD dual exhaust system
- 18-inch TRD black alloy wheels with the Michelin Off-road Package Tires
- Special blackout Toyota grille
- TRD Pro bed panel stamping
- Skid plate
- Matte satin black badges
- Black headlight bezels
Additionally, the Tundra TRD Pro received a complete TRD suspension upgrade, raising the front by 2", making for a level ride height while extending wheel travel at all four corners of the wheel base.
2015 Toyota 4Runner
The Tundra isn't the only Toyota model receiving the all new TRD Pro package. The 4Runner will have the new package as an option for 2015 as well.
The TRD Pro package for the 2015 4Runner comes stocked with:
- TRD Bilstein high performance shocks with rear remote reservoirs
- TRD tuned front springs and locking rear differential
- TRD stamped aluminum front skid plate
- 17-inch matte-black TRD alloy wheels
- Black "TRD Pro" hard external badges
- Customized "TOYOTA" front grille
The 2015 4Runner will still have the same trim options of SR5, Trail, and Limited, with the option of the new TRD Pro package as well.
It's stock 4.0L V6 engine with a 270hp at 5600 rmp and 278 ft-lb torque will be available for all models and packages.
2015 Toyota Tacoma
The Tacoma rounds out the last of the three trucks to offer the all new TRD Pro edition. Just like the Tundra and the 4Runner, the 2015 Tacoma will offer the same TRD Pro package, including:
- TRD Bilstein high performance shocks with rear remote reservoirs
- TRD tuned front springs and locking rear differential
- TRD stamped aluminum front skid plate
- 17-inch matte-black TRD alloy wheels
- Black "TRD Pro" hard external badges
- Customized "TOYOTA" front grille
Besides the new TRD Pro package, no other major changes stand out for the 2015 Tacoma.
Toyota Sienna
The 2015 Sienna receives an all new interior design, as well as a cosmetically-enhanced exterior. Additionally, Toyota is reintroducing the Swagger Wagon theme, first introduced in 2010, to the 2015 Sienna.
All the lineups for the 2015 Sienna remain the same, although each model receives updated aerodynamics and a more stiffened frame.
A new headlight design is offered for the SE and Limited models, while a new taillight design and front grille design is offered on all models except for the SE.
Interior additions for the 2015 Sienna include:
- Redesigned and restyled gauge cluster with an optional 4.2" driver display
- A more practical HVAC design for both front passengers
- A "dual-view" rear-seat entertainment display that plays Blu-Ray discs
Safety upgrades for the 2015 Sienna include the following:
- Customized seat cushion airbag for the front passenger
- All other airbags were enlarged
- Instead of 3 LATCH anchors, there is now a total of 4
- Interior microphone system that allows the driver to speak to passengers in the second and third rows
2015 Toyota Yaris
The Yaris for 2015 will offer its L, LE, and SE trim packages, while also giving the option to go with either a 3-door or 5-door hatchback.
The main changes for 2015 include a redesigned exterior, giving it an overall sportier and sleeker look while adding a stout front grille.
Interior:
The 2015 Yaris will have air conditioning as standard on all of its packages, as well as a newly redesigned dash that will help bring a more modern and luxurious feel to the overall interior.
Exterior structure:
The body structure for the 2015 Yaris has been reinforced, as well as an extra layer of sound deadener added, and a quicker-ratio power steering enhancement has been added as well.
All versions of the 2015 Yaris will include the 106 horsepower, 1.5-liter VVT-i-4-cylinder engine. The 5-speed manual transmission, standard on the 3-door L and the 5-door SE, will have a new hydraulic clutch.
