Shivraj had given the phone number of CM office for complaints, calls were not received on the first
Pushpendra Singh, Bhopal. Rajpratap Patel, a resident of Gunaur in Panna district, has been troubled for two years to get a ration card made. Complained in CM Helpline in 2020, but the complaint was closed without redressal. Application was given to SDM in public hearing, but the result did not come out.
About 6,000 such applications reached the CM in a conference of sarpanches and panchayat representatives in Bhopal on Wednesday. After this, Shivraj made public the landline number 0755-2442231 of the CM office from the stage itself. Rajpratap had thought that now he would be listened to, but the call was not received when he called there.
This problem is not of Rajpratap alone. Premnarayan Mistry of Bhopal was also troubled throughout the day on Thursday. He called the number of CM House several times, but kept telling the phone engagement again and again. Premnarayan's complaint was that the children have neither received uniforms nor books in the government school located at Semraklan. People's Update also made a phone call to this number, but the call went unanswered.
Multiple platforms to solve public problemsThe state government has created a dozen platforms for redressal of complaints. The intention is that people get solutions quickly and without rushing. But the reality is opposite. In the CM Helpline alone, the number of complaints is going to reach 2 crores in 8 years. The number of revenue related applications alone has gone up to 1.43 crore. Of these, 9.66 lakh applications are still pending.
