An industry located in Baixo Guandu, in Espírito Santo, continues to advance in the conquest of the Brazilian palate, after widely dominating the capixaba market with three quality products: pre-fried crackling, ready-made crackling (pururuca) and lard, offered in packages with varying weights.

The history of Embutidos Sperandio is old in the city, when a young entrepreneur named Tiago Sperandio da Vitória, a teenager who worked in the butcher shop belonging to his parents Amadeo Sperandio and Elizabeth Machado da Vitória, learned to deal with the activities of the enterprise.

James found that in the Butcher was great demand for a pro [1] duct: the crackling. He immediately became interested in increasing production and little by little the delicacy was conquering a larger audience, thanks to the excellent quality, at that time already differentiated.

Today, after 12 years, Sperandio pre-fried crackling is a reference throughout the capixaba territory and has already expanded its borders to the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia and Rio de Janeiro, where it can be found in grocery stores and large supermarket chains.

New products

Embutidos Sperandio diversified its production, also industrializing ready-to-eat cracklings (pururuca) and lard, which can be found in packages of varying sizes.

The increase in production forced Embutidos Sperandio to invest in an extensive area in the industrial hub of Baixo Guandu, where the industry was built, which today has state-of-the-art equipment to allow even more agility and quality.

According to businessman Tiago Sperandio da Vitória, all the experience gained over almost two decades has allowed Embu [1] to reach a production of excellence, with quality, meeting all sanitary requirements and finding the ideal formula to fully please the consumer's palate.

"I had the opportunity to develop this whole process of the search for quality with a lot of work and dedication, especially observing the taste of the final consumer", reveals the entrepreneur Tiago, today with only 35 years, but already with two decades of work in the company, since adolescence.

Company industrializes 60 tons of raw materials per month, with plans to increase production

Embutidos Sperandio processes 60 tons of raw material monthly, but the local plant [1] located in Baixo Guandu is projected for an increase of up to 60% in production, thanks to a constant modernization process that includes first-line machinery and equipment, with permanent automation.

All this raw material of the industry comes from large refrigerators in Brazil, all of them due[1]to federal inspection and quality control.

Entrepreneur Tiago Sperandio makes a point of supervising the entire industrial process, which requires a strong dedication to maintaining quality.

"It is not simply a matter of industrializing the slaughtered pig, but especially knowing which skin is ideal to make the crackling or the ideal cut to produce the best lard," explains Tiago Sperandio.

Embutidos Sperandio today has a staff of 27 employees, thanks to all automated industrial processing that allows speed and efficiency in production, which is even accompanied by specialized technicians.

Expansion

The industry has solid plans to expand production, which gradually grows as new markets open up.

In addition to Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Bahia and some cities in Rio de Janeiro, the idea is to take the Pro[1]pipelines of Embutidos Sperandio to new squares.

"We are expanding our market especially in the states of Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro and we must in 2023 reach the consumer public of São Paulo, aware that we have quality to offer and win the preference is a matter of time," explained Tiago.

Embutidos Sperandio is the only one in Espírito Santo with federal certification (SISBI), in its segment. For 2023, the company also expands with the launch of new pro[1]ducts and will improve the packaging that reaches the final consumer.
