How vintage came into my life.

My journey with vintage and antiques began with me in the search for what else would give me pleasure to do and in what area I can be a contribution and what would be a contribution for me. Aside from a coaching business I have regarding awareness and personal development, I also wanted something more.

I love stories, having interaction with people and I connect with everything there is and I like to perceive what is beyond what we see. In my search for more, I began to ask for things to appear in my world that I wanted to find.

It was a Saturday afternoon passing by a Church Benefit store and I felt like the tent was pulling me down. I had no intention of going in that day, but the pull was so strong that I followed the momentum. There I saw three figurines that I adored and bought one. As I went to my car to put my groceries I felt a sense of uneasiness and in my mind I asked the little boy "I'm sorry I forgot to ask you, would you like to come with me?" and got a "No!" And I asked him "Will I give you back?" the answer was "I want my friend with me!!" in a tone of a small child insisting and it was so cute but demanding. Meanwhile, I was thinking I'm glad no one is listening to what I'm hearing or they'd think I'm crazy. So I went back to the store and bought the statuette of the girl and felt that the boy was cheerful. They were both fine now to come home with me.

When his message later was: "Things would like to come to you and through you they would go to whoever looks for them, you are a mediator! Those two are bringing joy to my home with their presence now.

With that they began to call me antique and vintage jewelry as well as small antique objects. Most of those objects I can take advantage of and get some story that belongs to them. They speak clearly, others subtly and others are quiet. Take them as fictions and products of my imagination, because I also love to tell stories.

When you look at something I listed here or on my Etsy account, imagine having it or using it and asking "will this bring joy into my life?" if it feels light to you. Or if it's a gift "will this contribute to that person?" and if it feels light and good, go ahead.

What if everything you add to your home, space, body could expand your life and give you more than you imagine? Just wearing something you really love that day or looking at beautiful things in your home could change your mood and the way you're present in your daily life.

Tune in and enjoy!
