37,000 Ahiranis in dwarka made history alive by playing maharas:

On Sunday at the Nandham campus in Dwarka, almost 37,000 Ahiranis from the Ahir community relived history by playing Maharas together. At the biggest event of the Maharas, 37,000 Ahir ladies from all around the world participated in the traditional red outfit.

In this program, almost 1.5 lakh people of Ahir community participated. The aim of these Maharas was to exposing the Indian culture to the younger generation. Participants in this planning arrived, including people of ahir community living abroad in india.

Akhil Bharatiya Yadav Samaj and Ahirani Mahila Mandal were in charge of organizing the program.

37,000 Ahiranis arrived at Nandgam premises at five in the morning. Dharma Dhaja and Tricolor appeared in the middle of the ground. Over 37,000 Ahiranis wearing traditional dress and navalkhi chunddi on their heads and gold ornaments around their necks performed the traditional Raas Garba to the tunes of Mayabhai Ahir, Aniruddha Ahir, Sabhi Ben Ahir, Max Ahir, Bhavesh Ahir. After this, the World Peace Rally was held among the Rukshmani Mandir to Jagat Mandir.

The history of 5000 years ago has been revived in the city of Dwarkadhish, through these Maharas. Five thousand years ago, who was the daughter of Banasura, performed rasa on this same stream, Shri Krishna's grandson Aniruddha and his daughter-in-law Usha. This Maharasa was held in Dwarka in memory of Shri Krishna and his descendants.
