A Closer Look at ABIT’s Experiential Learning Programs
Experiential learning is an active learning approach. Practical laboratory experiments, internships, practical, field trips, study abroad opportunities, undergraduate research, and studio performances are a few examples of experiential learning activities.
Experiential learning programmes that are carefully designed, overseen, and evaluated can encourage interdisciplinary learning, civic involvement, career growth, cultural awareness, leadership, and other intellectual and professional abilities. These can also be used to further academic investigation. ABIT understands this and hence their programs have these activities that foster better learning among the students.
Enhancing students' skill sets and getting them ready for the workforce is their aim. Students can sharpen their technical skills, enhance their communication abilities, and prepare for the business world with the help of the assistance of teachers at ABIT. The goal of these courses is to prepare pupils for professional life. The training is divided into three categories:
Technical: Preparing pupils for written tests, which are a prerequisite for employment at most firms, is the aim of this training.
Aptitude: This programme aims to prepare students for written tests, which are necessary for most firms in order to hire new employees.
Soft Skills: Students will gain business etiquette and enhance their communication abilities through this programme. They will be more equipped to participate in group discussions, role plays, interviews, and other evaluations, and it will also be simpler for them to integrate into the corporate culture when they work for a company.
Depending on their academic requirements, students might choose to pursue summer training programmes and internships. It gets them ready for interviews and employment openings.
ABIT has an adequate academic infrastructure consisting of six academic buildings and one administration. Whiteboards, CCTV cameras, and LCD projectors are installed in student classrooms. Additionally, the laboratories include modern, well-equipped facilities. Students are taught theoretical and practical skills in an effective and illustrative way using the audio-visual equipment in the laboratory. The department offers lab and theoretical study resources to ensure a full understanding of the subject.
