Nadi astrology is an ancient form of astrology that originated in India. It is based on the belief that each individual has a unique destiny, determined by the pattern of the stars and planets at the time of their birth. Nādi astrology is based on the theory that each person has a unique vibration that corresponds to their life and destiny. Astrologers interpret these vibrations to determine how past, present and future events will affect a person's life. By studying the movements of the planets and stars, astrologers can predict a person's future and provide guidance and advice for the best possible outcome. In addition to providing insight into an individual's life path, Nādi astrology can also provide information on family lineage, past lives and even physical descriptions.

Nadi astrology is an ancient Indian method of astrology to know about one’s past, present and future. It is said that thousand’s of years ago, the great sages of Indian had the power to look into the past and future of the entire universe and recorded the life of each human being who either lived, were living or were to live at some point of time, these discussions were written on palm leaves in an ancient Tamil script, which can now only be described by expert nadi astrologers.

Nadi in Tamil means "in search of". As one individual goes in search of his details in the nadi, this system came to be called by this name. The palm leaf inscriptions are scattered throughout India. Some of these palm-leaf inscriptions available in Tamilnadu were standardized, ordered and classified nearly 1000’s of years ago during the period of the Cholas in South India. There are a number of nadis available named after the sapthatrishis and Siddhas who composed the same. There are only a few nadi astrologer in india who all are from the Valluvar family available, who could interrupt the inscriptions which are written in the poetic language.
