If you need to change or cancel your Sun Country flight before it takes off, you can do so without losing all your money. But the condition is that if you change your plans 60 days or more before your flight, you will not have to spend anything extra. If you or someone travelling with you becomes sick and you can't make the flight, Sun Country may allow you to use your ticket at a later time. They may give you up to 30 additional days to use it. All you need to do is as follows:
Get a note from a doctor saying you are too sick to travel before your ticket expires.
Make sure the note states that you cannot complete your trip on time due to illness.
Send the note to Sun Country along with your ticket and receipt for what you purchased.
Sun Country will confirm the extension by stamping your note.
How do I change my flight with Sun Country?
If you want to change your flight with Sun Country, there are a few ways to do so.
If you booked directly through Sun Country or Expedia, you can change the date of your flight or cancel by phone or online through My Trips.
If you have booked a flight and hotel package, you will need to call to make changes or cancel.
If you made your flight and car reservations directly through https://suncountry.com/, you can change your travel dates online through My Trip. But for any other changes you will have to call.
If you have booked a car reservation only through Avis or Budget which is the preferred partner of Sun Country flight. then you can make changes by phone or on the Avis/Budget website using your last name and confirmation number.
Sun Country flight change fee
If you need to change your Sun Country flight, the sun country flight change fee depends on how early your departure date is. Let me explain it to you in an easy way
You would not be charged if you make a change 60 days or more before your flight.
You will have to pay $36 for changes on each part of your trip. If it is between 59 and 14 days before your flight.
The fee increases to $79 for each leg of your journey, if there are less than 14 days left for your flight.
Now, if you have booked a flight with a hotel or car package:
This may also include additional fees from the hotel or car rental company, changing your flight within 60 days of departure.
You must pay $39 for each part of your trip, plus any hotel or car fees, within 14 to 59 days of departure.
And within 13 days or less, it's $79 plus full hotel or car charges for each part of your trip.

Flight credits expire after one year, but you can still use them for travel after they expire.
