What is EDTA?

EDTA or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is a weak acid used as a chelating agent. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) contains an amino carboxylic group with the formula C10H16N2O8.

What is the Process of Manufacturing EDTA?

EDTA is prepared from the compound Ethylenediamine and Monochloroacetic acid.
