SCANVEX SPLASH GUARDMany of our systems are operated with aggressive media that must not be released into the environment. This is why we have also included products in our range that we offer under the name SCANVEX. The flange connections of the pipes and fittings must be protected against uncontrolled leakage of media. The need for this is enshrined in law.

CONTAINERS & APPARATUSGerman Engineering, produced in ChinaWilk-Graphite builds metallic pressure vessels, apparatus and shell-and-tube heat exchangers in a joint venture with Nantong Sunshine from Nantong, China. The aim of the collaboration between the two companies is to combine experience in apparatus and vessel construction with cost-effective production in China.

Silicon carbide heat exchangers and other SiC productsOutstanding properties of silicon carbideOur SiC products are made from pure, directly and pressurelessly sintered silicon carbide, known as SSiC. They no longer contain any free silicon ions. SSiC therefore offers almost universal chemical resistance. The thermal conductivity is better than that of all metals. The extreme surface hardness protects against abrasion, even in highly abrasive environments. Like hardly any other material, SSiC is ideally suited for extreme high-temperature applications.

Silicon carbide block heat exchangerSiC block heat exchangers are an alternative to tantalum, titanium or Hastelloy heat exchangers due to their many advantages. They also outperform PTFE-impregnated graphite heat exchangers and O-ring-installed SiC shell-and-tube heat exchangers. Their superior performance and durability mean they pay for themselves in a short time.

They are made from pure, direct and pressureless sintered SSiC blocks. The extreme surface hardness protects against abrasion and enables high flow rates with maximum thermal efficiency.
