Islam and Divorced

Marriage and divorce are two basics of our family system. A new family is existed when two person, male and female decide to be married or living together, Ramadan Umrah packages. Islam, marriage does not come to a valid legal contract till both male and female freely agrees with it. Willing of the bachelor females is as necessary as male. A woman has right to choose her life partner, according to her wish. According to the Islam, adult already married woman has right to cancel her marriage as when she is not handed over to her husband. After marriage, man and woman have almost equal opportunity to get divorced if both are not willing to live together. Allah Almighty does not like the divorce, saying by His Beloved:

"Allah did not make anything lawful more loathsome to him than divorce. Of all the lawful acts the most detestable to Allah is divorce." (Sunan Abu Dawud: Book#12, Hadith #2172-2173)

A woman cannot give divorce to her husband, but a man can divorce to his wife. But Khula is opportune to a woman. If a woman does not like her husband then she can request him to divorce her. But very rare people use to talk that woman divorce her husband. It is because Islam is a religion of success,cheap Umrah tickets. That success brings us on the way of Allah.

Verses of divorce in Islam

1st Verse on divorce in Islam

After 1st divorced woman will wait for three menstrual periods,

In the light of Quran:

The woman shall wait for three menstrual periods; it is not legal for her to conceal what Allah has created in her wombs, if they believe Allah and the last day. And her husband has the better right to take her back in that period, if she wishes for reconciliation. And she has right similar over her husband to what is reasonable, but the man has a degree over her. (Al-Baqara 228)

  • 2nd Verse on divorce in Islam

After the 2nd divorce, it is not lawful for the husband to take back the Haq-Mehar from her. Haq-Mehar is the money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage. In the light of Quran:

After 2nd divorced, either you retain her on reasonable terms or release her with kindness. And it is not lawful for you to take back any of your Haq-Mehar, which you have given them, except when both parties fear that they would be unable to keep the limits ordained by Allah. (Al-Baqara 229)

  • 3rd Verse on divorce in Islam

The third verse is about the limitation of remarriage. In this verse a divorced husband and wife do not allow to marry each other until woman marry another husband and divorced from him. In the light of Islam:

And if he has divorced her, then she is not lawful unto him thereafter until she has married another husband. Then, the other husband divorced her; it is no sin on both of them that they reunite, provided they feel that they can keep the limits ordained by Allah. (Al-Baqara 230)

  • 4th Verse on divorce in Islam

This is about to those who die and leave wives behind them, in this situation a woman will have to wait for 4 months and 10 days. The purpose of this rule is actually to provide the leniency for a woman. She can marry if she wants after these fix days.

In the light of Islam:

"And those of you who die and leaves wives behind them, they shall wait for four months and ten days, then they have fulfilled their term, there is no sin on you if they dispose of themselves." (Al-Baqara 234)

When the divorce is occurred?

Umrah visa There are three divorces in Islam, after one or two divorces, man has right to take back his divorce with the time period of Iddah and after it he can remarry with a woman. If three divorces have been given, then the husband has no right to take his words back. He even not marries her until the woman marries someone else and that person divorced her. After divorcing with the other husband, she has to complete the days of Iddah. Then she can marry her first husband. Iddah for the pregnant widow or divorced woman is until she delivered the child.
