Shocking footage has emerged of the moment a 17-year-old was dragged into a car and attacked.

The vicious assault occurred in Port Kennedy, Perth, on Sunday before the video began circulating on social media.

Rockingham detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault, with footage showing the teenager being bashed and thrown into a car.

Footage then shows the girl begging for help with a bloody face.

WA Police say the 17-year-old was "placed into a vehicle" before she was assaulted by two females who are believed to be known to the teenager.

The graphic footage was posted online and shows the girl being bashed and dragged by her hair into the car.

She is then driven around Perth with blood dripping down her face.

The girl can be heard begging for help and screaming: "No, please, don’t take my stuff".

"Leave me alone," she can be heard saying.

In another video the teenager can be heard begging the male driver of the car to stop the vehicle.

Police have said a man behind the wheel was forced to drive the car by the two women.

"At this time, it is believed the male driver of the vehicle drove the vehicle under duress and was not involved in the assault," a police spokeswoman said.

The investigation by police is ongoing, and anyone with information is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
