The iPad provides plenty of uses for the average person and most people that have one rave about the device.  With access to the Internet and thousands of apps and programs to choose from, the iPad is a valuable resource that many people are enjoying all around the world.

Browse the Web

One way to use your iPad is to browse the Web anytime and anywhere.  Feel like surfing the Internet at the coffee shop or the beach?  Feel free.  The browser is fast and navigates well.  You can browse in landscape or portrait mode and it allows for finger based navigation.

Read E-Books

If you visit the iBookstore, you can choose from over 700, 000 books.  There are also new Multi-Touch textbooks right at your fingertips.  A neat bookshelf displays your books and you can flip it to take a look at the store.  The iPad allows you use the text size and font that you desire and you can adjust the brightness depending on your needs.  There are reading tools, such as highlighting and note taking, dictionaries, and the option to use VoiceOver to allow the iPad to read to you.  Finally, if you purchase iCloud, the books that you purchase for your iPad will be available to read on your other mobile devices as well.

Play Games

For the generations that love to play games, you can’t go wrong with the iPad.  You can browse hundreds of game apps, many of which are free or a low $.99.  Popular games include Plants vs. Zombies, Angry Birds, Dungeon Hunter, Real Racing, and Scrabble.  You will never be bored again with the iPad and its seemingly endless list of games.

Watch Movies

Feel free to watch movies day and night with you iPad.  You can purchase movies from iTunes or with Sling Box, you can watch TV anytime and anywhere.  Select from thousands of movies and TV shows to keep you entertained all day, every day.  Many parents can attest that this is a great way for your children to find entertainment on long trips or at the store.

Capture Photos

Picture taking has never been so easy. With the iPad you can take pictures and edit them easily.  You can also make a slideshow with your favorite photos and add some cool music to add some flair.  If you purchase the AirPlay app, you can watch that slideshow on your HDTV. All of your photos can be organized and categorized easily.  If you have iCloud Photo Stream, you can view the photos that you take on you iPhone, iPod touch, or computer as well.
