What’s Unique about theIPad?

There are so many unique and wonderful things about the iPad and this is why it one of the biggest portable technology sellers of the year.  First, the iPad is not a notebook, but a single tablet.  It is small, lightweight, and you don’t have to worry about opening or closing the device.  It is easily portable and has a touch screen, making it easy to use without a mouse.  If you’ve ever been annoyed at having to lug your laptop, mouse, and power cord around, then you’ll LOVE the iPad.

Another unique characteristic of the iPad is its extremely long battery life.  Users can get up to 10 or more hours of use, even when playing games, watching videos, and listening to music.  This beats the typical laptop by 5 to 6 hours and the lugging around of a briefcase with a heavy laptop and long battery charger.

Along with the ability of the battery to last much of the day, the ability to connect to the Internet via 3G or 4G is very convenient.  You will never have to be bored again waiting for an appointment, lounging by the pool, waiting on your spouse to get ready, or traveling.  You can watch movies even while traveling on a plane.  Years ago you’d have to take your laptop and DVD’s to watch movies, and even then most of the time your laptop battery would die before the plane landed, but with the iPad you can watch movies via iTunes for hours and hours.  This makes traveling even more appealing.

Business owners will especially like the iPad, with its hundreds of business and productivity apps.  You can create business reports, track customers, sales, and network in various ways while you are at home, at the office, or anywhere.  It also comes in handy as a marketing tool with the ability to show clients products, pictures, and videos.

The large virtual keyboard makes the iPad unique from other mobile devices, such as the Kindle Fire.  It has auto-correct spelling, suggests words, and helps with punctuation.  You can use it to type emails and it will recognize your email addressed from your contacts.

Taking and editing photos is a must with your iPad.  The pixels are among the best and editing is a cinch. You can easily crop photos, fix red-eye, and more to create colorful and creative photos.  If you want, you can create a slideshow with music playing in the background and show it to family and friends.  Want to play it on your big screen TV?  Simply use AirPlay, which allows you to connect to your television so you can proudly display your slideshow. Finally, if you want to be able to view your photos on your other mobile devices, simply use iCloud Photo Stream, as it will automatically put your photos on your other mobile gadgets.
