The BCABA Test Prepares Questions the candidates for descriptive behavioral assessment, interpret the results, and then design ethical and effective behavioral analytical interventions for clients. The test is only targeted at candidates who have the following required pre-requisites:
- Possession of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from any of the following:
a. A US institute of higher education listed in the CHEA Database of Institutions and Programs accredited by recognized US accrediting Organizations
b. Canadian institute of higher education that is a member of Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, or Association of Canadian Community Colleges
c. An institute of higher education located outside US or Canada which maintained the standard as demonstrated by World Education Services or national Association of Credential Evaluation Services
- 135 classroom hours of instructions in the following content area and for the number of hours specified
a. Ethical considerations: 10 hours
b. Definition and characteristics and principles, processes and concepts: 40 hours
c. Behavioral assessment and selecting intervention outcomes and strategies: 25 hours
d. Experimental evaluation of interventions and measurement of behavior and displaying and interrupting behavioral data: 20 hours
e. Behavioral change procedures and systems support: 40 hours
