Are you a good planner?
Planning is an imperative necessity of a good software engineer. Flow charts are something which you should enjoy making. Especially when you will do job, it is very important that you know how to make a good flowchart. Moreover, make a habit that when you get a program, jot down its basic theme on a piece of paper. By this you will get a plan of how to you start the program and how to reach the desired results. After getting a rough idea, start it on the compiler.
Are you patient with your work?
Do simple problems make you apprehensive? Do you panic if you don’t get the desired result? Well, if the answers are yes then this profession is definitely not meant for you. Many a times while coding, the program is not fetching the desired result. In such cases one doesn’t needs to get panicked. If problem is there, there has to be the solution too. Moreover, thanks to Google. You can find and learn almost anything from it. So if you even get stuck somewhere in between the coding take the help from various resources you have.
Do you cram your text books?
Well, if you don’t then it is certainly the right place for you. A student must always try to learn the fundamental concepts of a subject. Be it in any field. If basics are clear, work automatically becomes easy. People mug up a full page coding during their exams to score good marks. What they don’t know is that it will not help them in future to bag a good job.
Unfortunately, there are also a few students who are forced to study this by their parents. Well, never mind. If you are not good in coding there are many job aspects for you other than that where you can try to secure a good position. For instance, a technical writer, many MNC’s are there in the market who pay fine salary packages to their technical writers.
