Bali Pass Trek Itinerary Day 1 -Sankri to Seema via TalukaYour voyage starts from Sankri which is a scenic village and also considered a base camp for several treks. We start our day by driving to Taluka ( 1 hour drive). The road overlooks the Supin River and provides stunning views of mountains.
Start the trek to the village of Seema from Taluka. The path passes through thick forests of pine and deodar, wooden bridges and tiny waterfalls. You will also cross picturesque villages, which display the modest mountain existence.

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

This is the day that your body will be adjusting to trekking and getting into a rhythm for the journey ahead.
Day 2: Seema to RainbaseraThe track carries on deeper into the valley on the second day. You will trek alongside the Supin River, through open meadows and wooded areas. Views open up and much of the time you can see snow-covered peaks in the distance.
Located in a serene campsite Rainbasera amidst the nature. It's a great spot to chill post-walk and enjoy the peacefulness of the Himalayas.

This is day for acclimatization and in limb strengthening.
Day 3: Rainbasera - Ruinsara TalIt is one of the most beautiful days of Bali Pass Trek. The trail ascends easily until Ruinsara Tal, an exquisite high altitude lake nestled amidst mountains and alpine meadows.
Once you near the lake, the views are simply magical. If weather is fine snow peaks reflect in the clear water of Ruinsara Tal and provides excellent photographic opportunity.

Day 4: Ruinsara Tal to OdariUpward journey from Ruinsara Tal to Odari, a rocky relative shelter area frequented by shepherds. The trail gets rougher and you begin to feel the true high altitude environment.
You will see fewer plants and more rocks. The mountains are closer, the air thinner.

Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult

This shorter trek lets you conserve energy for the more difficult days yet to come.
Day 5: Odari to Bali Col CampIt’s an unpredictable and exhilarating day. It is a steep trail and is quite rocky; some snow may remain late into the season. There’s a lot of upwards and onwards as you make your way to Bali Col Camp.
The camping site is close to Bali Pass route and one can have mesmerizing views of the surrounding peaks from here. The nights are cold, but the starry sky is unforgettable.

Day 6:Bali Col Camp to Lower Dhamni (via Bali Pass)This is the most adventurous day of dhaulagiri trek. We start the ascent towards Bali Pass (16,200 ft) early in the morning. The climb is steep and can be snow-covered which adds fun and adventure to it.
At the top of Bali Pass, you are greeted by a sweeping view of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch and other giants. After spending a few hours at the pass, we start our long descent towards Lower Dhamni.
