The event consists 14 days racing over the desert and the Andes Cordillera in Argentina, Bolivia and Chile. The event will be held from the 5th to the 20th of January 2014. This period ensures perfect climatic conditions to race.

This rally will start in Rosario, Argentina. The organiser of the event is French ASO organisation. The Main rally office is in Paris.

The scenery of 2014 Dakar will be quite exquisite, and different from what you would usually expect as a track for quad biking. Mountainous areas with high slopes and sheer drops, dunes and dry slat lakes. The race will finish in Valparaiso, Chile.
