Implementing Six Sigma
Implementing Six Sigma in big organizations is not a big deal. Now a day also there are various outsourcing companies that offer SixSigma services to the companies for their goal achievement and improvement. But in this case there may arise some issues such as of dominance that may decrease the efficiency of the process.
To avoid such problems there are some other ways by which Six Sigma can be implemented. Some companies incorporate the process of SixSigma in the responsibilities of all the employees and they are managed by a few facilitators or leaders trained with the method of 6Sigma. This process makes the work environment more challenging and hence improving the quality. It is not that the SixSigma process engulfs only the employees who are under its responsibilities. In fact all the team members of the organization who are affected by the changes taking place along with the customers are a part of Six Sigma process. It is the customer who decides upon the quality and hence they are an eminent part of the process.
Another eminent part of the process of Six Sigma is the team leader. The team leaders have to be highly trained with the process of Six Sigma so that they are aware of each and every steps and tools of the process. They are the ones who not only control the team operations but also manage complications. For a company with a bottom line value of about $150,000 a Black Belt is offered to the leaders, while the leaders of small companies with lesser stress are offered with Green Belts. Apart from the Black Belts and the Green belts, there are also Yellow Belts that are offered to all the team members. The Yellow Belt holders are not very much into the details of the process but are a part of it.
