Two winning tips for your peers

Author: Luke Melendez

The fact is that to be where you want to be with your health and fitness means that you have to change some of the things you are doing now. This would be so much easier if you only had to manage your own thoughts however most of us hit a big brick wall as soon as we set any goal Our Family and Peers It is hard to change our habits and it is equally as hard for your friends and family to change their habits. That is why we have put together these winning tips for getting your family and friends on board with what you want. 1) SELL YOUR IDEAL Don't make what you are doing look hard. Your friends and family will want to protect you from harm so the minute you start whinging about your training or your diet they will all start telling you to ease off. Instead brag about how good you are feeling and how easy you are finding it. 2) GET THEM ON BOARD Your friends and family don't want to lose you and if you suddenly change they will react by trying to keep you how you were. They will encourage you to have a drink, chill out in front of the TV or have a good helping of desert. This is a normal human reaction that is easily changed by getting them on board. Swap hanging out at the pub or lounge room for hanging out at the gym that way they don't feel that they have lost any time with you. Do the same with your family, get your Partner or Parents training with your PT so that you are not influenced by temptations at home. I hope these two tips have helped. Want more tips and guidance? TRX L-Sit Pullups

A perfect compound movement

(an exercise that involves more than one muscle)

Focusing predominantly on the back and biceps. But please also keep your legs up as it engages your core (Transverse Abdomens & Rectus Abdominis).

The aim is to sit on the floor fully relaxed then, as seen in the photo here, pull yourself off the ground keeping the legs at full flexion.
