Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, helium-powered, with or without battery, digital or analog, with an antenna, without an antenna, waterproof, dustproof, whatever be the kind – gadgets and devices from all across the world have for the most part of this century captured our imagination with their incredible technology and worthwhile usability. Among these, the ones to impress us the most are the locomotive ones. The latest sensation to take the world by storm is the Chinese mini scooter. Now you might wonder how mini it can get. Well, it can actually be so small that it can simply be a battery powered board connecting two wheels. Yes, that meager in terms of quantity! But qualitatively it’s absolutely top-notch and worth a try for everyone, young and old.

The Electric Drifting Scooter

This kind of mini vehicle is the smallest that a vehicle can get, along with the self-balancing unicycles. This was probably first manufactured in China and entered the markets in and around 2014. Since then there has been no stopping its popularity, apart from the odd blip. USA had made a hue and cry about the boards catching fire due to battery overheating. It had happened in a few places but otherwise it has had a smooth run in the international market. The ones which were defective caught fire, but if you buy the original stuff from China, where its concept was actually conceived, then there should be no reason for you to worry about using it. It’s absolutely safe.

Segway Scooters

This kind of a mini-vehicle is more or less similar to the electric drifting scooter. However, one of the few differences is that Segway actually has solid handles attached to it, while the drifting one doesn’t. The handles lend more support, while the driver is standing on the board, trying to balance and ride his way around. They are located right in front of the passenger and are designed in such a way that they resemble the handles mounted on bikes. Segways are mostly used by the elderly as they give more support, while the drifting ones are preferred by the youth. Differences aside, the one most important thing that is similar between the two is the fact that, both are self-balancing and can be easily handled by anyone using them. The word ‘segway’ means ‘to move smoothly’ and this loco-gadget certainly lives up to its name.

Have fun with loco-gadgets

It is wonderful to see adults riding these mini-scooters and feeling as if they are kids again. If a machine helps someone to have that feeling and enjoyment then it clearly means that something’s absolutely right about this. Who doesn’t want to be reminded of childhood – the good old days! But what’s amazing is that apart from producing this nostalgic feeling, the electric drifting scooters serve really important locomotion purposes for the fit as well as the not so fit. Segway scooters are ideal for all those who are utter novices in balancing.

All of us can have absolute fun riding these machines. They are all absolute delights and truly represent the age we are living in.
