The wedding kurta pyjama for Indian grooms is an exquisite garment that may have more traditional elements in comparison to the casual wear kurta. Since different parts of India have different traditional variations of the garment, most grooms prefer to wear and ensemble that reflect their culture and ethnicity. For example in Bengal the Punjabi Pyjama which a local variation of the ethnic essemble is preferred by Bengali grooms.
