National Defense Academy and Naval Academy offer the opportunity for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, and Indian army. Candidates who are willing to join the field of defense have to qualify the NDA and NA examination held twice a year by UPSC (Union Service Public Commission).

There are two phases of the Exam:

I. Written Examination.

II. Interview by SSB (Service Selection Board)

Paper II has two parts English and General knowledge, including Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography and current affairs. Refer to the syllabus on NCERT book and collect the reference books for above syllabus to study in detail each and every subject.

Preparation duration

Start your preparation at least six months before the examination. Make a time table of preparation according to the syllabus. It is recommended to start the preparation as early as possible. Brush up the basic at the school level. Before learning shortcuts and tricks, clear the basic concepts of each and every subject.
