Slowly and steadily we are moving towards the end of 2018 with rising expectations in our heart. Wait, did you forgot? Yes, I am talking about the much-awaited release of Magento 2.3 which was announced earlier this year at a conference in Las Vegas. Just like all its previous releases, this new version too comes with its improvements and unique features embedded in it. Let’s have a look at the new features you can expect as Magento development services.

  • The first and most crucial feature you can expect from this release is a new version of the declarative database system which besides bringing significant performance improvements also enables you to restructure the part of modules with clear coding.
  • Next thing you can expect is PWAs or Progressive Web Apps which are best known for providing unique essence and feel to native apps. For it to work effectively, Magento will also launch its PWA studio, a robust toolkit with its new 2.3 version.
  • For security purposes, Magento will launch a two-factor authentication as well. Though already a part of 2.2 release where it allows access with command line interface and Composer support, this new version will require extra information to access the store, making the security even stronger than before.
  • Another security feature you can expect from Magento 2.3 release is the Google Recaptcha which will ensure that only humans can access your storefront and nothing else.
  • From the latest 2.3 version, you can get the benefit of requesting the API which can then be queued up until the request gets completed. Earlier versions were only limited to the multiple API’s that can run simultaneously. But that’s not all, with this update, your e-store will see massive fundamental improvements in Magento performance as well.
  • In its latest 2.3 version, Magento will bring in the support of GraphQL, an API technology that will assist the PWA to handle the information with low data packets. This will lead to an even faster loading time than before.
  • You can also expect an essential enhancement of the page builder feature which is basically all about rewriting the Blue Foot CMS. This feature will not only let you avail drag and down layout management but also help you with template creation along with smooth UX for non-technical ones.
  • Lastly, for your benefit, Magento offers the ease of managing the multi-store inventory in various multi sources rather than third-party extensions. Moreover, you can now track the inventory level with multiple warehouses and retail stores to better manage the shipment procedure.

Now that we know what to expect from the latest Magento 2.3 release, it's just getting harder to wait. Isn’t it? My hearty congratulations to the whole Magento team on the hard work they put in to bring this dream version into a reality.
