Responsive websites are the need of the hour, undoubtedly.Because of the growing number of multi-screen devices, business owners and marketers alike are in a dilemma to zero in on design structures that are suitable for all types of devices.Although going responsive has turned out to be the one-shot solution for each of these concerns, a bigger problem now faces everybody. Out of all the devices, which device should be at the core of their design or the entire framework? The emphasis is now on getting the best out of responsive. However, it’s a tough thing to give prominence to any singular device, certain tips, when kept in mind can give you optimum results when you are trying to convert psd to responsive html

1. Decide on the conversion mode: While building responsive HTML, you need to figure out the objective of the project. Is it meant primarily for the latest gadgets and then everything else, or, will it be targeting each and every device, old or new, thus giving a very basic flow of design.

If you are targeting the latest gadgets, you will need to build the most optimum framework thatwill be in sync with the gadgets latest technology. From there on, you can start incorporating the responsive elements which will degrade with the features and resolution of older devices.

For designs meant for every gadget, you need to build the basic layer first and then incorporate elements of higher order for latest devices.

  1. Fonts: The fonts are an important part of the entire webpage. They deliver your message to the viewer and also call out to her to engage with you. Before going responsive, keep in mind that the fonts are well placed and are clearly visible. Also, check if important text like CTAs which encourage viewers to interact with you are at right place and positioned prominently.
  2. Loading time: You have to ensure that the loading takes as less time as possible. For that you have to take care of the jQuery, javascript and CSS files and coding. The mobile viewer is extremely impatient now-a-days and you have to deliver a site which is high speed across all platforms.
  3. SEO optimized: An SEO optimized site doesn’t only mean that it has enough keywords and all its Meta titles and descriptions in place, but, that the images and multimedia context should be made and optimized using HTML and CSS. Google hates websites that take time to load, thus, leading to increased bounce rates. At the HTML stage, your coding should take out any such flaws that render a website slow.
  4. Brand representation: It’s important that the website represents the brand it is made for. Before going on with the coding, give a final look to the design and check if it reflects the tone and objective the brand stands for. Is the brand all about boldness and vigour? The website should also play with loud colours and fonts. Assess the mood you would associate the brand with and work accordingly.
