The crisis situations forced on the Syrian civilians are unprecedented. The region is facing one of the worst internal wars that has completely ruined the normal life in the country. The people have lost their houses, livelihoods, jobs and a decent opportunity to make a living. They are condemned to lead a live of poverty, indignity, despair and fear. With the crisis prolonging over long years, the bright end of the tunnel seems very far to the Syrians. A lot of Syrians have fled the country to the neighbouring lands to take shelter in the refugee camps run by the governments of those state and some NGOs. Millions of others are condemned to live in Syria under the clouds of uncertainty longing for food and other supplies from humanitarians.

The relief groups have surveyed the situation in Syria and have reported that the supplies made by the governmental and other organizations to the Syrians still caught up in the country are no way sufficient to meet the demands. By the time the supplies are made, they get exhausted not able to meet the overwhelming number of Syrians who are in need of help. There is in fact a huge demand for the non-food items for Syrians. Some of the supplies needed under this category include clothing, blankets, medicines, toiletries and others.

There are a lot of challenges faced by the relief groups in Syria. In their attempt to reach out the Syrians in the war prone zones and problem areas, the members of the relief groups are actually risking their lives. During several instances, many such volunteers have succumbed to death due to bombing, shelling and firing by the militants. Therefore, it is the duty and bounden responsibility of the world populace to see to tat a section of humanity facing a dangerous threat is saved to the extent possible.

It is to be notes that the civilians are innocent and in no way would like to see an outbreak of war that would damage their regular and peaceful life. Therefore, they have been in fact made the victims of fault that is not theirs. While this is a message for the warring groups, the first and the immediate thing we must do is to see that the Syrians are given the basic necessities to pull on their lives till the end of the crisis and your participation in this mission shall go a long way to bring smiles in the faces of many.
