Vadodara, a former princely state on the bank of Vishwamitri River, is a known place in India. Also known as Baroda, it is the 3rd largest city of Gujarat. Regular flights connect Delhi and Mumbai to Vadodara. The airport is only 6.2 km from the city centre and reaching Vadodara by airways is one of the most comfortable means of travelling. Vadodara railway station is connected to all the major cities. You have to take a bus, taxi or cab to reach the city from the railway station. Gujarat State bus services the whole state. And a number of cabs, taxis and private buses ply to Vadodara from different parts of the state.
