About CMQ/OE, Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Certification Exam

The Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence is an expert who is in charge of the process-improvement initiatives and who can have regional or global focus in a variety of service and industrial.
A CMQ/OE helps and leads:

Topics for the Constructed-Response (Essay) Portion of the Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Exam
Candidates will be presented with three open-ended questions from which they can select the two. Candidates will have 45 minutes to write the exam.
Their responses will be graded on their knowledge of topics listed below:

- CR-4. Customer Focus
- CR-5. Supplier Management
- CR-6. Training and Development
Prerequisites for the CMQ- OE:
Experience
Candidates who wish to sit for the CMQ-OE exam must have full time paid work experience. They must have ten years of job experience in one or more of the areas of the Body of Knowledge. Out of the ten years a minimum of five years of experience must be in a decision-making position.
Education
If candidates have completed a degree from a college, university, or technical institute which is accepted by ASQ, part of the ten year experience requirement will be waived:
- Diploma from a technical or trade school - one year
- Associate degree - two years
- Bachelor's degree - four years
- Master's or doctorate - five years
Examination Details:
- Exam Duration: Four hours, broken into to two parts
- Exam Format: 150 Multiple Choice Questions and two essay questions.
- Exam Language: English
- No of sessions: Examinations are conducted twice a year, March and October, by local ASQ sections and international organizations.
Registration Policies
