If you love anything that is truly unique, then the Seiko Arctura watch is for you. With two-sub dials, a power reserve indicator and a stop watch, the Seiko Arctura watch is like no other watch you might have seen.

You might be wondering if I have flipped my lid after all, what can be so unique about a wrist watch with two sub-dials and a power indicator, right? Well, if you look at the Seiko Arctura watch, you will instantly notice what is different about it.

Seiko Arctura watch uses the signature design of the Seiko Kinetic technology. Seiko coined the word "Arctura" to stand for rigid, aerodynamic design and quality build. The designers of the Seiko Arctura watch it seems were inspired by natural curvature that we see around us - be it rainbows or the curvature of the earth itself. Curving the watch was a stroke of sheer genius as the new curved watch fit very snugly on the wrist. No more slippage and having to pull it up.

The dial face of the seiko velatura chronograph watch too is unique. The shape itself is more like one of those uniquely shaped swimming pools rather than a regular watch and this fact is sure to catch the eye of everyone at a party or at office. It has been variously described as "sinuous", "gorgeous", "debonair" etc. It definitely was a bold move by Seiko - one that caught on and today we see many others too copying this design and style. As the eye of the viewer follows the curve and you notice that the actual time keeper on the Seiko Arctura is in the form of a sub-dial located at the 6 O'clock position.

Of course, there are various versions of the Seiko Premier Chronograph watch and the one we've described here is one of the first to be released for commercial sale. In the last couple of years, Seiko has come out with newer versions sporting triangular hour markers but without the unique dial face. The newer versions have regular time keeping on the regular dial and a sub-dial for an alarm located at the 6 O'clock position. In fact, there are currently six variations of the Seiko Arctura watch on offer; polished stainless steel, polished red gold and the rest are stainless steel with black or white dial or urethane band. There is also one unique Seiko arctura kinetic watches that has a stainless steel case and bracelet with black PVD coating that looks exceedingly handsome.

With an average case dimensions of 45mm with 10mm thickness, Sapphire crystal, an alarm, analog display, 100 mt water resistance and a 72 hour stand-by power reserve, the Seiko Arctura watch definitely has a lot going for it. It is also one of the most economical watches manufactured by Seiko. So if you are planning on buying or gifting this watch, go right ahead, you just can't go wrong with the Seiko premier watches.
