Having more than 25 years of experience, Jose Pineiro is an IT consulting and software development professional. He has expertise in various information technology areas such as developing applications, technological improvements, and operational efficiencies. Its business line includes food and beverage services, marine staffing, housekeeping, warehousing logistics, and travel fares to various cruise lines including Thomson, Regent, Oceania, and NCL.

He joined Apollo as a Software Developer. After he successfully completed the requisitions project, he was promoted to IT Manager and was given the responsibility of development and implementation of a new HR system. He accepted this challenge, and implemented new software technologies and also managed a developers’ team. The HR system was implemented by the end of 2004, which resulted in improving productivity and saving the company’s money in labor, travel arrangement, etc. 2005 was the year when Jose Pineiro became the Director of Information and Technology for all Apollo companies. His responsibilities were revised to development and maintenance of various software applications such as order processing and HR system.

In his 27 years of hard work at Apollo group of companies, he acquired a great deal of experience in utilizing technology solutions. He successfully led all technology initiatives for the Apollo group, and contributed a lot towards the growth and success of the group.
