Law at National Law University, Jodhpur- A Credential

Jodhpur is the most beautiful city of Rajasthan. It has been called the second ‘Metropolitan City’ of Rajasthan. It is one of the major attraction for tourist. It is a city with its own glory story, a city of art, culture, chivalry, dynamics, innovation and so much more. In this beautiful city is located National Law University Jodhpur.

National Law University is one of the leading and prominent university of India. It was founded in the year 1999. The Dean of the faculty is Dr. Lalit Kumar Bohra. The faculty is firm determined to produce exceptional lawyer and legal consultants. They believe that every person has diamond (potential) within him/her, they just need opportunity to discover it and channelize it.

As the founder Mr. Kamal Mehta believed that mere holding degree of Academics would not help enough to grow and rise in the progressive world, so in this faculty too education was combined with proper training to make it more worthful.

The motto of the faculty was to prepare students for "A Nobel, Demanding and Exciting Profession". They understand that they need to create an insight inside their student so that they can understand the ‘big picture’. The faculty makes rigorous effort to train for the socio- economic challenges of the world. Training with regular interaction with Bar and Bench is promoted. Students do also get opportunity to participate in the Moot Court.

The University got its affiliation from the Bar Council of India (BCI) for its undergraduate program and for its doctorate program from UGC.

The University has internship program also for its Undergraduate and Post graduate students. It believes in utility education. The internship are basically held in the month of November- December. It lasts for around four to six weeks. Student get opportunity to ‘learn by doing’ with different government and private firms.

Enrolment procedure for Law is quite easy, convenient and time saving. Any candidate who has passed out 10+2 with minimum 45% marks from any recognized board of India or Abroad is eligible to apply for the same. Passed out criteria for SC/ST is 40%. Same ways, the age limit for the general category is below 20 years and for SC/ST is 22 years.

A Candidate with the above eligibility can appear in the entrance exam of CLAT and LSAT. Total number of seat available for the program is 60. So be a part of this world-class university to get full exposure to our potential.
