Alzheimer's disease is complex, and it is unlikely that any one drug or other intervention can successfully treat it. Recent approaches focus on helping people maintain mental function and manage behavioral symptoms, thus suspend the symptoms of disease. Common behavioral symptoms of Alzheimer’s include sleeplessness, wandering, agitation, anxiety, and depression. Scientists are learning why these symptoms occur and are studying new treatments—drug and nondrug—to manage them. Research has shown that treating behavioral symptoms can make people with Alzheimer’s more comfortable and makes things easier for caregivers.

Alzheimer’s disease investigation has developed to a point where scientists can look beyond treating symptoms to address the fundamental stage of this disease. In ongoing clinical trials, scientists are developing and testing several possible interventions, including immunization therapy, drug therapies, cognitive training, physical activity, and treatments used for cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

We at Lake Charles Clinical Trials are specialized in Alzheimer's disease Treatment. We endeavor to teach patients and their by standers about mental illness, and conduct basic and translational research into the manifestations, causes, and treatment of mental illness, Depression Diagnosis.

Choosing the right doctor and/or therapist to the treatment for schizophrenia and other mental health issues may seem like a daunting task. But, finding the right doctor is an important step towards getting the right treatment. Schizophrenia treatment involves medications and management to reduce the risk of future psychotic episodes and improve relationships.

We are dedicated to conducting clinical trials in patients with various mental disorders, including but not limited to:

Alzheimer’s disease

Bipolar Disorder (with current Depressive or Manic symptoms)

Depression

Schizophrenia

Anxiety Disorders

Both Inpatient and Outpatient clinical trials are being conducted with a diagnosis of disorder. Our studies consist of Placebo-Controlled, Active-Controlled, and Open-Label medication. Patients who have the symptoms of Schizophrenia are eligible to participate in selective clinical trials.

We employ qualified research staff for the clinical trials. We have three Clinical Research Raters, and three Clinical Research Coordinators. We also employ a full-time lab technician, a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, an Administrative Assistant, and an Inpatient Coordinator. The way of conducting our research is slightly different from others. The primary function of each position has its own responsibilities that comply with the industrial standard. Our Regulatory Affairs Specialist handles all the study start-up documents for new studies, IRB approval and notifications for new, existing, and previous studies, and manage the required training for each person on staff. The Inpatient Coordinator is responsible for managing the care of all patients’ needs and medications during hospitalization.

The research coordinators will complete the required visits with the patient, as well as all required assessments. They also handle the drug accountability of each trial, except for instances in which the study medication requires blinded personnel. The primary role of the Coordinators is to design and complete the source document preparation prior to each study visit.
