Finally, the living facility has family support so I can visit grandma anytime I want to, and also get an update on her health. I can’t believe I found a great living home in San Antonio for grandma, and it has the highest staffing ratio.

When I tell grandma that I was looking for living in San Antonio TX and found a really nice place for her to live, she insists on visiting it before she agrees to move in. I think that is reasonable and set up an appointment for her to spend the day. During her visit, grandma sees that it is just like living at home. She enjoyed the meal and was impressed by the room she would be living in. After spending the day at the living facility, Grandma agrees that she could be happy there.

I never thought that it would happen but the day finally came when I had to take grandma to the living facility. It was both a sad day and a happy one. Grandma was excited to have her own room, to meet new people, and to spend time sitting in the sun outside. She was also grateful that she no longer had to cook or clean. I was relieved because I knew that grandma was being well-cared for and was safe. Finding living for grandma was the best thing I could have done for her.
