Bond girls of yesteryear Maryam d'Abo and Dame Shirley Bassey show off their age-defying looks

A bevvy of fresh-faced Bond-affiliated beauties flooded the evening.

Yet Maryam d'Abo and Dame Shirley Bassey ensured they brought some of the vintage Bond glamour to the star-studded premiere of Spectre at London's Royal Albert Hall on Monday night.

The 54-year-old former Bond girl and the legendary songstress, 78, showed the younger generation how it was done as they stormed the red carpet.

Dame Shirley has sang three Bond themes including Goldfinger in 1964 and 1972's Diamonds Are Forever, which both starred Sean Connery, as well as Moonraker in 1979 where Roger Moore played the super sleuth.

She upped the glamour in an incredible ombre-style gown which extended from an embellished red and peach-coloured top, into a flowing mustard, chiffon gown.

The heavily jewelled top section of the dress descended into an increasingly sparse glittery pattern.

Dame Shirley went for subtle co-ordination with a red manicure and her blood-red clutch which elegantly matched the crimson beading at the top of her gown.

She wore a marabou fur stole, adding to the Hollywood glamour of the ensemble while piling on gold jewellery including earrings, a watch and bracelet.

Her hair was styled into elegant soft curls which hugged her face, which boasted perfectly applied make-up including red lipstick and a slick of eyeliner.

Dame Shirley made sure she continued the party into the wee hours as she was spied heading into the Day Of The Dead themed after-party following the screening.

Maryam famously played Kara Milovy in the 15th James Bond movie, The Living Daylights in 1987, when she starred opposite Timothy Dalton in his first offering as 007.

As she arrived at the Spectre premiere she showed she still has all the glamour of the classic Bond girls in a stunning, floor-length gown which was heavily embroidered with flowers.

She wore her honey-hues locks in long, bouncy curls tumbling over her shoulders while showing off her age defying complexion with glossy make-up and heavy eye shadow.

Adding to the veteran glamour-puss roster was ever-stunning 82-year-old Dame Joan Collins who wowed in her usual Hollywood style.

The octogenarian looked sensational in an off-the-shoulder black dress which slipped off her shoulder with a split which offered a glimpse of slender leg while she swathed herself in a stunning white fur stole.

She was dripping in diamonds as she sported a wide-brimmed necklace, adorned with jewelled lotus shaped detailing, with pearls pouring from each section.

Another former Bond girl in attendance was Britt Ekland, who played Mary Goodnight in 1974 Bond film The Man With The Golden Gun.

Dame Joan matched her earrings to the necklace, while also sporting a thick diamond cuff which was visible from beneath her black silk gloves.

Joining the ladies at the star-studded event was the man of the moment, Daniel Craig, the sixth actor to take on the role of the world's best loved spy James Bond, cut an extremely suave figure in a black tuxedo on the red carpet.

Escorting the leading man up the red carpet were his stunning co-stars Léa Seydoux and Monica Bellucci for the screening of the 24th spy movie, which was also attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

Monica Bellucci made those in attendance green with envy in plunging emerald velvet gown by Ralph & Russo which featured a thigh high split.

The wrap detail number did extremely well to showcase the 51-year-old's enviable curves as she stood tall in peep toe heeled sandals.

The Duchess of Cambridge turned on the glitz at the premiere of the 007 film in a full length dress by her go-to evening wear designer, Jenny Packham.

Kate dazzled in a diaphanous pale blue full length gown and diamonds with her hair in an elaborate up do, the 33-year-old also added height to her look with a pair of Jimmy Choo heels.

At her side, dressed in Bond-style black tie, was her husband, Prince William, and brother-in-law Prince Harry.
