Daniel displayed his love for music at a very young age and received great encouragement to pursue his music from his father. The singer’s music career started off at FUNAAB when he met the popular Nigerian singer Jahbless who allowed him to record his music at his music studio. Soon after being signed by G-Worldwide Entertainment, Daniel released his first official single Shoye which was produced by Beatburx on May 1, 2014, along with a music video directed by MEX.

Daniel released his second single Woju produced by Dj Coublon in the same year on September 1, 2014. Woju’s video was shot in Lagos, Nigeria and it was released by Adasa Cookey. The song remained for eleven weeks on the MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten. And, for six weeks it remained at the top spot.

After this success and the resultant follow up, Kiss Daniel recorded and released the remix of Woju featuring popular Nigerian artists Davido and Tiwa Savage. Soon after receiving massive popularity with Woju, Kiss Daniel headed back to the studio and worked on Laye. The third follow up single Laye was released on his birthday on May 1, 2015.
