More Students Turn to Practice Tests in Preparing for the Canadian Pharmacy Exam

According to the Government of Canada's Service Canada statistics, the job outlook for pharmacists in Canada is overwhelmingly positive. Overall, Canada is experiencing an increase in prescription medication use, which in turn leads to the need for more pharmacist positions. Also, there is currently an overwhelming need for health care facilities to fill pharmacist positions. This need in the pharmaceutical field is predicted to increase the number of pharmacist graduates in the next couple of years.

In order to become a pharmacist in Canada, students are required to pass a variety of pharmaceutical licensing exams. The first test is the Evaluating Exam or EE. The Evaluating Exam covers science as well as pharmaceutical topics. After a student has passed the EE, they must also pass a two-part qualifying exam and an oral exam.
