SNAP 2015 Details

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national level entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis University to select students for their MBA and another post- graduate management programs. It is a mandatory prerequisite to getting into institutes under Symbiosis University. This year, the test is scheduled to be held on 20 December, 2015.
The registrations for Snap 2015 began on 24 August, 2015 and will end on 24 November, 2015. One can register online on their official website www.snaptest.org. The candidate has to upload the scanned copy of the necessary documents and photograph. The registration fee for SNAP 2015 is INR 2000 and the payment can be made online. The last date for the payment of registration fee is 27 November, 2015.
Any aspirant who holds a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Further, the candidate should be 21 years of age and should be a citizen of India. Final year students can also apply only if they pass their year before the commencement of admissions.
The test will mainly cover the following topics- English, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, General awareness, analytical and Logical reasoning. There will be 4 sections altogether namely General English, Quantitative and Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning. Each section consists of 40 questions each while the Logical and Analytical reasoning question will consist of 60 questions. There will be a total of 180 questions and the total time allotted will be 120 minutes. Candidates must not waste any time while attempting the test as total time allotted is comparatively less.
Each question carries 1 mark each and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
The test is being conducted in 30 cities across India. It is an online test and the timings are 2:00 Pm to 4:00 Pm. The admit cards will be available online on the official site of SNAP from 5 December, 2015 till 20 December, 2015 i.e. the exam day. The results will be announced on 11 January, 2016.
After the results are announced, the various institute under the Symbiosis University shortlist the candidates and further continue the final selection process which involves WAT/GD and personal Interview. There are 14 B-schools under the Symbiosis University.
