Revolutionary methods of educating today's youth are on the rise. More options than ever before are available now. No longer are students chained to their local public school. Homeschooling, private schooling, and now uniquely tailored charter schools exist to give parents a choice, and to give students the upper hand.

We are leading the way with our charter school Pompano Beach, FL. Just like the neighborhood public schools, charters schools are free to enroll and attend. Unlike the other schools, there are no textbooks. Each and every student receives a brand new iPad or laptop upon enrollment. Like homeschooling, each student is given the freedom to advance at their own pace, and receive one on one attention from instructors. Unlike homeschooling, students do attend a brick and mortar institution, and the instructors are certified to teach in the state of Florida.

Some charter schools cater to all grade levels and others like ours just middle and high school. High school students enrolled in an accredited charter school have the option to take on additional classes for college credits that can transfer when the student is ready for university. These college courses are offered at NO cost to families. Imagine slicing your child's college tuition bill by 1/3 or more!

Is an alternative education right for your child? Ask yourself the following questions: Is my child bored with the lagging pace of traditional schooling? Are behavior problems emerging due to this boredom? Is my child going into a technological field where experience with computer based learning would be an asset? Is my child tired of the social complexities of high school and would prefer to just have quiet, non-competitive space to learn? Is my child being bullied or discriminated against in his or her local school? Is my child an advanced learner who desires the challenge and freedom of a state of the art environment to grow?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, you should consider alternative or charter schools for your middle or high school student.

The state of Florida first approved the formation of charter schools in 1996. Since then the laws surrounding how these schools are run, how much and for what they receive funding, as well as rules for administrators and boards have been amended many times over. The Florida Board of Education is firmly committed to rigid regulation in order to provide students with the most phenomenal educational learning environment possible. The Florida government has given the okay for 162 charter schools in Broward County alone. This puts us leaps and bounds ahead of counties in other states all across the nation. Florida schools are making their mark!

Reading, writing, and arithmetic in such a dynamic setting deserves your consideration. Your child's future is in your hands. Only you have the power to put your student on the path towards success by choosing his or her educational path carefully. Free iPads, free tuition, one on one individualized instruction by certified teachers, freedom to make and break goals for advanced learning, the opportunity to complete college credit while in high school for free, and rigorous state regulation all add up to a rich and vibrant school experience to almost guarantee a lifelong love of learning essential for the next generation of entrepreneurs, teachers, doctors, and more.
