Keep migraine symptoms at bay with a fit and active lifestyle

Are you a sufferer of headache at regular intervals? Does that headache brings along with it a whole range of body weakening symptoms as nausea, blurring of vision, pulsating pain and complete collapse at times? Well, it's not a general headache. It is a migraine attack!
Though this term sounds very common and quite heard, yet there is no singular medicine that can be deemed as a cure for this. Nor is there a solid source which can be traced back to know more about this headache.
The only respite in most cases are the initiating migraine symptoms, which gives a hint regarding the physical calamity that is about to unfold. It is quite shocking that an excruciating headache, which has affected more than 26 million people alone in the United States and many more all over this globe has no remedy. Not just a lack of remedy, it does not have a proper source which can be found and hence cured once and for all.
Symptoms prior to actual pain:
Those who have not had an attack of migraine headache can really be deemed to be lucky. Yet as an initial note to some who suffer from this dreaded pain, here are some migraine symptoms that will help you in making early preparation.
Medication:
Since no cure is known as such for this headache, one has to do with temporary medication. Previously, popping painkillers such as a paracetamol or an aspirin could bring in momentary relief. However, these days, it is the triptans which have become more helpful. These triptans by constricting the blood vessels prevent this pain from reaching the brain. Though not a complete cure, but definitely it has power to provide extended relief.
How to stay fit:
To tackle migraine in an effective manner at least to reduce pain, one has to follow a strict schedule.
Personally, I, try to maintain a strict schedule regarding my eating habits. This has become increasingly helpful in all regards and also reduced occurrence of pain.
Staying fit and active is very important. One should maintain a healthy lifestyle to reduce its occurrence.
Another very important thing that one should do, since it has helped me immensely is to maintain a diary regarding occurrence of these headaches and present them to the doctor next time you pay a visit to him. This will help in better treatment opportunities.
