Jose Pineiro is a highly skilled professional in IT field with extensive knowledge and experience. He has apt knowledge of software applications, technological improvements, operational efficiency and managing all phases of software developments and implementations. He holds a bachelor degree in the field of Computer Science. He served various companies of Apollo including Discovery Cruise Line (1988 to 2010), Ship Chandlers (1988 to present), Apollo Global Catering (2013 to present), and Europe USA Travel (1988 to present).

Jose Pineiro started working with the organization as a Software Developer with the responsibility of developing a new requisition system for cruise ships. After completing the requisitions project and 2000 "y2k" conversion, he was promoted to IT Manager. Owing to his role, he was responsible for development and implementation of a new HR system using a new technology. By the end of 2004, the system was fully implemented onboard the ships and shore side that resulted in improved productivity. Besides this, it also saved a significant amount of money in labor, travel arrangements for crew and freight charges for the company.

In 2005, Jose Pineiro was promoted to Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies. Apollo is a small dynamic organization complex in terms of logistics and it is the key position to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. As Director, he is responsible for the development and maintenance of various software applications, including Order Processing and the HR system. With years of hard work and dedication, he has earned the respect and confidence of his IT team and upper management. In all these years, he has gained a great deal of experience in utilizing technology solutions to improve corporate efficiencies. In addition to this, he has contributed to the growth and success of the organization by leading and managing all technology initiatives for all Apollo related companies.
