Your ‘go-to helper’ in cleaning up your life’s greatest mess is located right in your laundry room. But did you know that it can handle so much more than just clothes? Here we list a few things you can definitely wash in your washing machine.

1. SPORTS SHOES

Yes, many of us keep rubbing and scrubbing our sports shoes regularly to make them feel all ‘new-like’. And there are some of us who don’t even care to wash them (we’d rather buy a new one :P). So, next time, those who want to wash shoes and those ‘who want to wash shoes but feel too lazy’, try the washing machine. It works!

2. YOGA MATS

These can get really dirty and may stink as well. Just put them in the washing machine and, voila! Make sure you don’t use the spin cycle for them, just delicate cleaning should do it.

3. BACKPACKS

Yes, our beloved backpacks that get soaked in our sweat and usually go through a rough usage need to be cleaned regularly. Make sure they are made of nylon cloth before you get all excited and dump them in.
