IRS Commissioner Koskinen to Keynote NBPCA’s 2016 Power of Prepaid® Conference

December 1, 2015, Washington D.C. - The Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA) announced today that Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Commissioner John Koskinen will keynote the 2016 Power of Prepaid® Conference.

Commissioner Koskinen’saddress to the conference will focus on the formation and importance of the IRS Security Summit, an unprecedented partnership between the IRS, states, and industry to identify and combat stolen identity refund fraud. The NBPCAand its members are active participants in the financial services working group of the IRS Security Summit. The Commissioner’s speech will underscore the importance of all stakeholders working together to help solve this problem and will highlight the strong working relationship between the IRS and the NBPCA and its members.

The sixth annual event will take place April 27-29, 2016 in Washington D.C. at the historic Watergate Hoteland will also feature innovative sessionsregarding legislation, regulation and prepaid product innovation with industry leaders, prepaid experts, members of Congress, regulators and law enforcement representatives. The event will focus on the major topics impacting the growth, innovation, and continued success of the prepaid industry.
