A weight loss program works only if you keep up with it. And it's easier to lose fat and get fit when the diet program you choose fits your lifestyle and your personality. For example, if you have many kids so you're always surrounded by food, your weight loss program should handle the problem of snacking all the time. Here are four main personality types regarding diets:

Type 1: The upholding seeker

You turn to pros and friends for advice. You have shopping partners, and you seek console from your friends after any traumatic experience, such as a break up.

Your ideal weight loss plan includes much support from other women who share with you the same goal and the same experiences. You should look for a weight loss program that involves weekly meetings with the members to have fun, and to share tips and experiences.

Type 2: The frequent snacker

May be you don't like cooking, or maybe you're too busy to cook, which makes you depend on multiple snacks throughout the day, and these snacks may contain ingredients that make you gain weight, such as peanut butter, chocolate, cereal, cookies..

Frequent snackers choose the food they can access most easily, so if you're a frequent snacker you should put healthy foods in prominent locations, and hide unhealthy foods in the deepest regions in your kitchen so you don't access them as easily. Try not to bring a full package of food to the desk if you work on a desk or to the couch if you want to watch TV.

Type 3: The rebellious spirit

You refuse to follow a strict diet plan, and you have no desire to exert much effort in counting calories. You believe that weight loss plans should be simple and flexible. If you are this type, you should focus on some changes in your eating habits, so you should eat slowly, and be aware of conscious of what you're eating and how you eat it, so that your mind registers the food you eat and tells you when it's enough. Also you should make sure that you're not too hungry before the meal and not too full after it.

Type 4: The sweet tooth dieter

Being a sweet tooth dieter means that you always prefer sweets like chocolate and cookies over non sugary foods. If you're this type you should first identify your favorite treats and then plan when you want to enjoy them, and how much of each one. To make this plan successful you should buy these sweet treats just one at a time, and eat slowly and mindfully.
