Awkward moment Miss World New Zealand performed the Haka

Awkward moment Miss World New Zealand performed the Haka at the international beauty pageant... and it did not go well
New Zealand beauty queen Deborah Lambie has been strongly criticised on social media for her performance of the haka at the Miss World 2015 contest in China on Saturday.
An uploaded video on Facebook hosted mixed reviews of the ceremonial dance, with many slamming Ms Lambie for her 'embarrassing' rendition.
The 24-year-old was attacked for being 'incredibly uncomfortable to watch' and that she should sack her 'management or advisor because you haven't been taught properly'.
Ms Lambie posted the video to her public Miss World - New Zealand Facebook page on Thursday and it has since received more than 750 comments and been shared more than 560 times.

'Learning this haka has made me appreciate so much more what it means to be a New Zealander,' she wrote.
'Our culture and our heritage is beautiful and it's been a privilege to learn more about myself and where I come from.'
Some remarks were scathing and claimed Ms Lambie should have performed a more feminine routine. 'That was a whole lot of screaming, sloppy and that's why the haka is left for the males. Your too petite for your own performance, it was a disaster,' Pania Hetaraka posted.
Ngatoa Leathers wrote: 'I'm disgusted in you for stealing and using my culture for your personal gain' and Frans van der Westhuizen stated, 'Totally inappropriate for the occasion.'
But others got behind the young beauty and showed her their support. 'People are entitled to their opinion Sister so expect a little backlash, ignore them,' wrote Ruatekaumawha Twentyfour.
Ms Lambie place 15th out of the 117 Miss World contestants at the final, which was held in Hainan island, China.
She has recently completed her studies in medicine at the University of Otago and will embark on a career as a doctor when she returns home to Dunedin.
At the end of this year's Miss World contest on Saturday, Mireia Lalaguna Rozo of Spain was crowned the 2015 winner.
