Breast augmentation surgery is used to enlarge the breast size and restore breast volume that has been lost after weight reduction or pregnancy by using breast implants or fat. Finally, once the implants are in place, the cut is sealed by using stitches. The stitches can dissolve on their own time or may have to be removed weeks later.

What you may experience after breast augmentation surgery?
- Tightness or pressure in the chest. The feeling of tightness will disappear in 2 weeks as these muscles gradually stretch.
- Feeling of engorgement. It usually goes away in one week after surgery.
- Sore creases. This may cause the creases more tender and sore after breast augmentation surgery.
- Back pain. Remember to change position when you sleep and get up, and do not use other muscles to compensate for chest muscles.
- Loss of appetite. Your appetite may return to normal as long as you are off the pain medications.
- Lack of energy. You have better not to move around since it may cause blood clots.
