Samsung’s Galaxy A latest smartphones for 2016 are now official

Finally, Samsung has officially and entirely announced its latest Galaxy A series smartphones on 2nd December, 2015. The Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 are the company’s mid-range babies in the current market. The Galaxy A7 was unveiled in January, 2015 while the other two date back to the year 2014.

The latest versions of the Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 pack the technology of easy mobile payments, improved camera features with premium designs. The 2016 Galaxy A series league will also house the Samsung’s brand new innovation technology and design which enables the users to reveals their uniqueness with strong performance via three sized screen options to choose from, 4.7 inch A3 or 5.2 inch A5 or 5.5 inch A7.

Samsung CEO, JK Shin was quoted as saying that the company is committed to consistent innovation which is based and inspired by the different consumer needs. He also added that the improvisation for the original A series were made based on customer feedback, so that the users can experience the irresistible combination of performance and style for daily use.

Talking of the innovations of A7 and A5, both the devices have almost similar specs with only difference being in their screen size. A7 sports a 5.5 inch display of Super AMOLED 1080p and A5 comes at a shrunken size of 5.2 inch with exact resolution. Both the devices are powered by 1.6 GHz Exynos 7 octa core processor. But A5 thrives on 2 GB RAM while A7 on 3 GB RAM. The handsets also have same camera resolutions, 13 MP rear snapper and 5 MP for the selfie addict people apart from boasting the latest optical image stabilization feature.

However, both the successors have improved battery capacity compared to their predecessors. A7 houses a huge 3,300 mAh battery while A5 makes use of a 2,900 battery. The increased battery capacity has made the phones thicker to accommodate the larger batteries.

The compact Galaxy A3 is a phone with a 4.7 inch HD display screen and thrives on 1.5 GHz Exynos quad core processor under the hood along with a 1.5 GB of RAM. The 8 MP rear snapper from the original A3 has been upped to 13 MP and the front camera of 5 MP is still the same. The 1,900 battery has been improved to 2,300 mAh battery.

Apart from the above specifications, the trio comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expended up to a whopping 128 GB with the help of a microSD card apart from sporting the company’s fast charging technology. Sadly, the handsets come with Android 5.1 Lollipop instead of Marshmallow. Thus in a nutshell, the 2nd Generations trio of the Galaxy A series are thoughtful upgrades of their ancestors, yet the pricing will be deciding factor like always.

The A5 is priced at 399 Euros while the price for A7 has not been revealed yet but it might be below the 499 Euros mark. The phones will be available internationally from January 2016. Users can get these in colour options like White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Platinum.
