Vision, it is one of the important sense organs that are indispensable for human beings. The Ptosis Correction surgery is one of the surgeries performed and high in demand in the Asian countries, especially in Korea, Japan, and China. There are plenty of reasons found for this particular surgery. Eyes are the most important organ that immediately attracts other people. Of course, no need to mention, it is through the eyes, we express many of our feelings and emotions. We cry, when we are sad, we laugh through our eyes when we are happy. It is not only clear vision that matters, the person who is having sagging skin, or wrinkles on his upper eyelid appear very old and loses his attraction in the society. What are the causes for this condition? It is necessary to understand the causes for this condition. The ocular problem depends upon the condition of the muscles, optic nerves, and the skin directly connected to the eyes. The Levator muscle is responsible for the eyelid movements and many times the problem is entirely related to this Levator muscle. The Ptosis correction surgery is conducted to correct this problem. When a person is suffering from the drooping eyelids and vision problem, the surgeon check for the action of Levator muscle in his preliminary examination, to confirm the reasons for the vision problem

Other than this problem, persons suffering from the Horner Syndrome also face the same problem. Therefore, a thorough check up is required to confirm the symptoms of the disease. In this syndrome the person suffering from nervous breakdown, where there will be brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and sometimes it may be due to a specific type of cancer that affects the lungs. The bags around the upper eyelid may also occur due to the severe chronic conditions such as diabetes, and another kind of rare disease known as mysthenia gravis.

Whatever may be the cause, your surgeon will be a better person to decide the course of action required to correct your impaired eye vision due to the bagging around your eyes. He will suggest some preliminary medical checkup required to ensure the condition of the eyes, and the causes for the condition. Depending upon these medical checkup results he will decide how to proceed with the surgery and explains the same to the patient or a person who wish to undergo this surgery for cosmetic purpose as well.
