One of my friends recently wanted to buy a house. Like most other people, we were roaming around the streets of our city to see if any house was on sale. At the same time, we were researching on the internet too. After a lot of effort, we managed to shortlist some houses that would suit our specifications. When we visited all those shortlisted houses, there was one thing that came out evidently – Our homes aren’t as big as they used to be earlier. When I think of the past, I get reminded of my maternal uncle’s house. It used to be extremely large with high ceilings. However, modern day houses have lower ceilings and aren’t exactly as spacious.

That is the reason why an increasing number of people are confused about how to accommodate high speed fans in India. We are all brought up with the concept of having a high speed fan. Most of the times, these fans are in the form of ceiling fans. Why is that so? The reason is that when we buy ceiling fans, we see that a large piece of equipment hangs down from the ceiling. This makes us get the feeling that it will keep us all cool. This is, of course, true. However, the misconception that needs to be addressed is that pedestal fans can’t be as good. In the past, pedestal fans used to be those small fans that would be there to complement the breeze of the ceiling fans.

Times have changed, though, manufacturers have been focusing extensively on making pedestal fans more effective and useful. It is not like the past when pedestal fans weren’t as useful as ceiling fans. Today, manufacturers know that houses are small and most people might have to make do with a pedestal fans. Here are some reasons why you should have a pedestal fan:

Designer fans India: This is one point that attracts the modern generation. There are many designer models available of the pedestal fans. With low ceilings and limited space in the house, a pedestal fan can occupy limited space but still make the room comfortable.

Cost: Another factor is the cost of the fan. For obvious reasons, pedestal fans are cheaper to afford than ceiling fans. After you have spent all the money on buying the house, you want to realize some savings.

Compact: As mentioned earlier, pedestal fans in India can come in different variety. Most of them, though, are very compact and easy to use.

Therefore, it makes complete sense to consider pedestal fans for your home.
