Karunya University: B.Tech Admission Procedure

Karunya University is a private Christian university in Coimbatore, India. The university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields such as Science and Technology, Management, Arts, and Education.

The University offers 13 undergraduate programs and the students can select the subjects that they want to study themselves. The electives that are offered to the students cover a variety of fields so that students get an understanding of multi-disciplinary courses. The students are also taken to industrial visits for exposure. Also, there are many recreational and extracurricular activities as per the interest of the students.

Students who are interested to apply for the B.Tech courses must have passed 10+ 2 with 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent from a recognized board or institute. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of All India Karunya Entrance Examination - 2016 (KEE - 2016) & Single Window Counseling – 2016. The exam will be conducted by the University itself. KEE-2016 is an objective type test covering topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and is scheduled to be conducted on 23rd April 2016 from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm. The exam will be conducted in 58 cities across India.

Candidates may apply online for the program on the official site of Karunya University. The Apllication Fees is 750 INR. Once the fee is paid, candidate will receive the application number and passcode via SMS or Email. Scanned copies of signature and photograph of the candidate is mandatory while applying online. The Admit card of the examination will be available online from first week of April 2016 onwards. Candidates may download the admit card as no hard copy of the same will be sent.

The shortlisted candidates will be called in for counseling. The single window counselling?2016 (SWC?2016) will be held in University premises on May 11, 12 and 13, 2016 (tentatively). The candidates can select the courses they want to pursue based on their score and availability of seats. Candidates can take provisional admission during the time of counseling itself with the payment of initial fees. The admission will be confirmed after the final marked payment is made. Candidates can download the enrollment letter from the last week of June 2016 onwards from the official website.
