Auto Roadside Assistance

With the average cost of retaining a lawyer in Canada ranging from $50 to $100 an hour, facing a legal dilemma can be not only highly stressful but also very costly. If could also be very frustrating, if after spending the money, you were to find out that you didn’t have a case at all or that the lawyer you spoke wasn’t even qualified to take on your case. It would be equally as frustrating if you spent the money only to walk away with more questions but no additional funds to have them answered. This is the predicament that Access Roadside Assistance does not want to see their auto roadside assistance members fall victim to.

Our Legal Aid Program minimizes the financial risks and emotional headaches associated with consulting with legal counsel on one’s own accord. It provides our auto roadside assistance members with convenient access to professional legal advice that is unlimited, cost effective, and straightforward. For only $14.95/year plus tax, all members[1] are entitled to this service, regardless of the auto roadside assistance membership package subscribed to. Access’ legal team will field questions from our auto roadside assistance members such as:

• I’ve received a speeding ticket I want to fight. What are my next steps?
• I’m preparing my will and want legal advice about dividing my property.
• I feel harassed in my workplace. What can I do?
• Can police search my trunk after I was pulled over for running a red light?
• I’ve just found out that I’ve been named as an Executor of an Estate. What do I need to know?
• What rights do I have in fighting the awful smell coming from my neighbor’s home?
• How can I ensure that I will still be able to see my children while my separation from my spouse is unfolding?

Comprised of a four step process, Access’ Legal Aid Program is available from 8:00 am and 12:00 AM PST (or 1.877.832.7534 in the event of an emergency).

Program Steps:

Step 1: Call 1-888-5-TALKTODAS (82-5586) with your auto roadside assistance membership number (e.g. ACC0188888)

Step 2: One of our intake agents will take your name, your call back number and a few details about your questions. They’ll also ask your availability to determine what time is best for the lawyer to return your call.

Step 3: During one of your specified call-back times, a lawyer will contact you to answer your questions.

Step 4: Walk away armed with the fulfilling sense of empowerment that comes from knowing and fully understanding your legal rights.
